Since December 15th, the White Nile State, with its seven localities, has been experiencing a state of continuous violations and crimes against civilians, as the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has reached the highest levels of organized violence against the population.

Villages in the White Nile, bordering Khartoum State and the Gezira State, have been regularly subjected to pillaging by the RSF militia, with attacks beginning by targeting markets and civilian properties, leading to behavior that violates all humanitarian values and principles.

On March 31st, the RSF militia committed one of the most heinous massacres against innocent civilians, killing six people and injuring several others during an attack on the village of Al-Darradur, on the outskirts of Al-Qutaynah city in the White Nile State.

We strongly condemn the actions of these militias at the Sudanese Observatory for Human Rights and denounce the humanitarian silence that encourages them to commit further atrocities.

We urge the Secretary-General of the United Nations and international human rights organizations to classify the RSF militia as a terrorist militia and to pressure for an end to these massacres.
